Totally random entry!
Hello world. I think my life has gotten a little too mundane these last few years in some ways. I've left some of my myself behind and I'm not entirely sure I'm happy with it. I think I'm going to start blogging properly again for a little self analysis of my Universe. Random comments from complete strangers should they stumble across this blog are just fine. Just try to be nice ok?

My rant for the day is regarding time. This little commodity never seems to be in enough supply, and your friends and family seem to think it must be easy to fit them all in with the free time you do have. I'm Godparent to a friend's child, and I'm very fond of the little mite, but recently I decided to go to a football final rather than a lunch that was organised for my friend's birthday, and my partner also decided to stay home and get some work done. This resulted in a somewhat dismissive email from his wife when we told them, and another email from him later saying he hopes to catch up before Christmas. It's unfortunate, but sometimes you just have to disappoint people for your own sanity, particularly as to be frank I haven't felt terribly social since my grandmother passed away recently. But as people live in bubbles of their own influence they sometimes can't see beyond their own needs. I think we're guilty of it sometimes of course. It's just all due to time. Damn you Father Time! I'll forgive you if you let my hair grow back though :)
