10:39 am: Yes, I am still alive :)
I really am slack aren't I when it comes to writing these things down? It's a shame really, a lot goes through my head that I certainly find interesting, and I'm sure a few more would too, if only I could remember to update this once in a while!

Should I do a synopsis on life of late? Yup, let's start there. My business has come out of the industry wide slump that existed, and is doing extremely well again. You don't say much to other people at the time, but in hindsight I'm glad we survived the period, as many of our competitors didn't. What doesn't kill you makes you stronger they say :)

Gf wise? Remember I had two girls I was interested in? Well, I decided I wasn't interested in one, and things just happened with the other. I'm still with her 5 months later :) It hasn't always been smooth, we've had a couple of large arguments, but on the whole it's been really good. It's lucky she has a good social life, as since all my friends started getting married, my own group of main friends has just wound right down! The only problem with her is she had an overseas trip planned (she's an overseas junkie) and in a few months is off overseas for 9 months. That could make life interesting...

Anyway, my topic for now is, aging. This month I get another year closer to being 30, and I can tell you, I'm pretty darn close :) Unfortunately, so many things change after you hit 25. If you'd told me that I'd stop clubbing by 26 or so when I was 24, I'd have told you you were mad, I'd be doing it until I looked stupid at 35/40 or so! But your energy levels drop away, when you do go you feel old with so many young people around, you get hangovers WAY too easily etc., it's all just bad! Frankly although you might like to dance a bit, you just can't be bothered and you just don't care!

BUT there's worse to it than that! You find it harder to stay up late, you find your knees creaking at times, you grunt when you bend right over, and you actually just find you're not as sprightly as you used to be! I'm used to jumping around when I have lots of energy, and used to my body taking it. If I jump around, now things feel like they might break gosh darn it, I'm nowhere near as flexible, and that just sucks! How are 40 and 50 gonna be!? Dang, where is a good alien with a de-ager when you need one!? :) Now, let's not even mention the fact I have less hair, and more fat and grey hairs. When will it all end!?

Who knows, but I have to say, I'm still enjoying life a lot :)
